Anoghi

Anoghi lays on a large plain high on Ithaca. The village views face East toward the mainland and south toward the Peleponnese. A quiet and friendly village with a traditional Cafenion, noted for its stuffed bird hung high over the cafe bar. Locals play cards and visitors enjoy the quaint environment. The Anoghi church has some wonderful frescos and the village holds its annual festival in the village square
