Stavros

Stavros is the northern centre of Ithaca. Life goes on all year around, not just during the Summer Season. It’s situated above Polis Bay where it is written that under the deep of the Kefalonian Strait, lies a sunken city. Stavros is known for it’s annual Sortiros festival held 5 and 6 of August in the village square.
